Fresh from making waves last month with its new GSX Powerboats 32 center console at the Tiki Lee’s Shootout On The River in Sparrows Point, Md., Glasstream Boats is making news at the Lake of the Ozarks. The Dothan, Ala., company’s GSX center console series is now among the brands carried by Big Thunder Marine, which has multiple locations on the shores of the Central Missouri waterway.
The multi-brand dealership took delivery of its first new Glasstream offering, a 28-footer, last week.
“We’re excited about our new relationship with Ed Champion and the team at Big Thunder Marine,” said Ashley Strong, Glasstream’s director of sales and marketing. “They are a perfect fit for the GSX Powerboats brand with their focus being a performance-driven dealership. We are currently building a variety of 28- to 36-foot GSX models for them and plan a delivery of each model before the end of the year. They received their first GSX 28 within the last week and I couldn’t be more excited about it.
“Big Thunder Marine is a first-class dealership with an outstanding following of satisfied customers,” she added. “We look forward to being a fundamental part in their continuing growth within our industry.”
Big Thunder announced that it was taking on the Glasstream GSX series today via a post on its Facebook page.
“We are excited to add Glasstream powerboats to our lineup,” the post read. “The new GSX line is sporty and efficient. This 28 is set up with twin 225-hp outboards. We have 32- and 36-foot models on order as well. Full details and pictures soon.”
